Scott Kerr
Head Coach
Head Coach Scott Kerr has a long history
of successful swimming and coaching. Scott is a native Oregonian
who graduated from South Salem High School where he held
numerous school swimming records.
After graduation from high school, Scott
competed for the Florida State Seminoles and in 1987 he
received his B.S. in Hospitality Management from Florida
International University.
His coaching history includes 4 years at
the Pinecrest School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and 15 years
as Head Coach with the Eugene City Swim Club. Scott is an
ASCA Level 5 coach. During his tenure at ECSC Scott has
qualified athletes to the Olympic Festival, World Championships,
Goodwill Games, and Olympic Trials. He has coached 13 Senior
National Qualifiers and over 60 Junior National Qualifiers.
He was selected as a United States Swimming Coach of Excellence,
two time Oregon Coach of the Year and nominated 6 other
times. |

Leslie Cromwell
Head Age Group Coach
Leslie has been coaching
age groupers for the past 15 years. Over that time she has
worked with several levels of swimmers and has had the opportunity
to be a part of some great coaching staffs. She comes from
a knowledgeable background having coached in New England
LSC, New Jersey LSC, Illinois LSC and now with us in Oregon
Swimming. She has produced several State record holders,
NRT qualifiers, NRT record holders, YMCA national swimmers,
Jr. National swimmers, Sectional and Senior national swimmers,
and Olympians. She also prides herself with her work with
the Special Olympics she volunteered with in Illinois, along
with several adaptive athletes she has been able to work
with throughout the years. She loves to make the impossible
possible.

Britta
Wyatt
Age Group Coach
SuperSquad Coach
Britta swam for the Buenaventura
Swim Club for ten years and coached there for three years
after. She has been coaching for the YMCA since 2002. Britta
lives in Eugene with her husband, Jason, and her daughter,
Reese.

Kristin Quirke
Age Group Coach
SuperSquad Coach
Kristin has 3 years of coaching experience
with Eugene City Swim Club and is head coach of the summer
league swim team at the Eugene Swim and Tennis Club. Kristin
swam for ECSC under head coach Scott Kerr for 8 years, before
going to college locally. She began coaching for the Super
Squad group in 2002 and has been with ECSC ever since. She
is now also an assistant Age Group coach. Her favorite stroke
to teach (coach) is backstroke because it was her favorite
stroke to compete in. Outside of swimming she enjoys spending
time with family and friends, listening to music and following
college football and basketball. |

Jessica Murry
SuperSquad Coach
Jessica has swam with ECSC
for 5 years, but has been swimming competitively for more
than 15 years. She swam for Sheldon High School and was
team captain her senior year, where she was also chosen
as MVP. After Sheldon she went on to California State University,
Northridge with a swimming scholarship, graduating after
4 years with a BS in Business Marketing. She has now moved
back to Oregon and works with Symantec Corporation. |
